Leaked Sony Emails – Potential Releases and Future Movies Plans Through 2017

With a number of Sony Pictures executive emails being leaked online, information about rumored movie projects has been revealed to all and sundry.

Quite interestingly, a 21 Jump Street and Men in Black crossover is in the works along with a collaboration between Django Unchained and Zorro.

In the cyber attack directed at Amy Pascal and Steve Mosko, a number of drafts of future movie plans as well as release schedules spanning from now to the year 2017.

Having said that, here’s a list of movies scheduled for release in both 2016: Uncharted, Sinister, Ghostbusters, Angry Birds, Mib/Jump Street, Greyman, Winter’s Knight, Fifth Wave, Inferno, Billy Lynn, Baby Driver and Little Woman.

As for 2017, the movies slated for release are Cleopatra, Spiderman, Django Unchained/ Zorro, Bond, Ghostbusters, Jump Street, Monkeys and Girl Team Up.

Other emails which detail out plans for the future list movies such as The Craft, a Barbie film, Lisa Joy, Sausage Party, Pride and Prejudice Zombies as well as Grown Ups 3.

More accurately, an email dated Nov. 16 provided information about Sony’s potential releases in the future with a sequel to Salt, Smurfs and Hotel Transylvania in the works apart from a Jumanji reboot.

Scripts for both a sequel to “The Equalizer” as well as the Sinister Six Spiderman movie were expected in December for which the former is scheduled for a fall 2016 release.

Finally, for the Jump Street movie, it looks like Sony is considered the 3D format for “23 Jump Street” along with a PG-13 rating.
